Swytch: 15% more sales within one quarter by repositioning

Client: Swytch, maker and retailer of premium eBikes and eBike conversion kits
My role: Fractional Marketing Manager
The result: Sales up 15% after one quarter
What I launched: A new corporate market and a Lease and Buy offer

Sound familiar?

  • You are talking to everyone, so nobody feels you are talking to them.

  • Every sale depends on one channel and one way of paying.

  • There is a plan, but it does not say where the next 15% comes from.

The starting point

Swytch makes kits that turn an ordinary bike into an eBike, alongside its own eBikes. The product was strong, but the message tried to reach everyone, everywhere.

How we worked

Listening first

We started with the evidence: a full review of the market, the competition and Swytch's own strengths and constraints, written up as a business plan the team could act on.

Deciding together

We refocused Swytch on three things: the geographies with the most potential, clear consumer personas to design the message around, and a new corporate market, selling to employers for their teams.

Going further

We also opened a "Lease and Buy" route, so customers could spread the cost.

What changed

  • Sales up 15% after one quarter

  • A corporate channel alongside direct sales

  • Clear personas and priority geographies guiding marketing spend

What it means for your business

Growth often sits in who you sell to, where, and how they pay, not in more advertising. Change those before you change the budget.
